The Idea of a Pinterest book

A few years ago I decided that if the internet was to blow up and we once again are plunged into the abyss of life before no internet, the website I’d miss the most is Pinterest. So I decided to create a ritual and every other month I’d sit down and collect images from Pinterest and other sources that I loved. These could be funky images, artwork, patterns, kitchens, old actors, poems, anything that made me smile and gave me inspiration. I’d print off the images and stick them in my book. It’s nothing more than a scrapbook, it’s not re-designing the wheel, it’s obvious. It’s a collection of YES images, mixed with some images of my own, some doodles and some dried flowers. Whenever I can I flick through this very thick book now and it fills me with joy. Apart from the fact ink costs an arm and a leg nowadays and I’ve probably spend a hundred quid printing off all these images, it still is a simple and easy idea that anyone can do.
