Film inspo: Le Départ 1967

The story of a young man and his dreams of being a race car driver, we follow his journey on entering a race and finding a car to race in before the starting pistol fires.

A perfect 60s film, filled with rage and humour and style. The experimental film style of showing a scene from different angles, ones we’re not really used to, sides of the camera that are fun and frivolous. Much more interesting in the wide, close up and two shot we’ve become to acustomed to in the Netflix age.
